Wanted to help spread the word regarding the release of WordPress 2.9.1. This releases fixes the annoying Cron issues that developed near the release of WordPress 2.9. Little did i know but WPTavern experienced the bug of posts misfiring their schedule. I discovered this after I submitted a post I wrote in ScribeFire for FireFox to WPTavern.com to be published as a draft. Instead, the post was scheduled and when the time came to go live, it mis fired. I’m hoping 2.9.1 has cleared this up.

Once again, the site upgraded automatically with no problems. If you are experiencing any of the following issues, it would be worth your time to upgrade.
