WPWeekly Episode 61 – Could WordPress.com Ever Rebrand?

I’ve been using WordPress since the early days so distinction between .com and .org is clear to me.
But for a lot of people WordPress IS wordpress.com and it’s a sad fact that the self-hosted (original version) suffers because of this.

WP Weekly Episode 41 – Interview With Scott Wallick

I don’t mind having Kubrick remain but another theme, especially a more advanced one like Sandbox, with it’s framework-like leanings makes for a much better platform for customizing your own theme.

Sandbox/Plaintxt Goes Up For Sale

I would have thought that the lead developer leaving would make it the ideal time to include it in the core but I guess we won’t know until there’s official word.

WordPress 2.7 has post classes which is a likely step in the direction of providing a plethora of css classes for themes.

The Bittersweet Taste Of Bleeding Edge Software

I tend to use bleeding-edge software on sandbox sites – just to play around with it. But if you can keep up with the pace of development for patching bugs then why not?!
