Displaying 1 To 7 Of 7 Comments Automatically Correcting The WordPress Mistake @Justin Tadlock – No worries Jeff, I’ll make sure the next version of AtD catches this one. :) » Posted By Raphael Mudge On July 6, 2010 @ 6:06 PM Spell Check Is My Ultimate Crutch You’ll have to let me know how the experiment goes. Part of being literate in the information age involves knowing how to use the tools the information age gives us (e.g., search). Spell check and other tools fall in the same category. Very valuable, but not without limitations. I think it’s ok to rely on these tools when one understands them. Blindly accepting what any tool says is dangerous. :) » Posted By Raphael Mudge On March 11, 2010 @ 9:44 PM AtD Releases FireFox Extension @Lane Lester – It does work with GMail’s plain text mode. We want to make it work with rich-text mode on some applications but we have to work this on a case-by-case basis. » Posted By Raphael Mudge On February 4, 2010 @ 1:02 PM AtD Grammar And Spellchecking Bookmarklet Thanks Jeff :) We have a lot in store for folks. It’s really exciting work both on the front-end and the back-end. For folks who want to know the difference between AtD spell check and what their browser has, I recommend trying this sentence for a comparison: Something to conoisur when talking to a wine conoisur. This feature is not in the pipeline for AtD/WP at this time. I think the logical next step would be a WordPress plugin that adds AtD to the WordPress comments form. I think this is feasible with the jQuery extension. If anyone wants to take a stab at developing this, let me know. I’m curious to see how it would do. » Posted By Raphael Mudge On December 2, 2009 @ 1:21 PM @donnacha | WordSkill – I noticed we go to all the same websites, if we’re ever in the same bar, I’ll purchase a beverage of choice for you. AtD is already enabled for all users on WordPress.com. As for comments, I’ve heard several requests for this (and checking within the HTML editor as well). I’m working on improvements to the AtD service right now, but if no one builds this kind of addon first, I’ll take a stab at it with a WP.org plugin in the future. » Posted By Raphael Mudge On September 14, 2009 @ 9:00 PMComments Posted By Raphael Mudge
