Displaying 1 To 7 Of 7 Comments Akismet 2.5.4 Adds Easy Link Removal Button A couple of years ago, I had a spam bot post comments to my site and it had some email forwards as the body of the comment. While email forwards are something that people do not look upon highly, the spam bot did post some select email forwards that were among the best reads so I did share them with my readers after ‘doctoring’ out the links and I didn’t feel guilty about it. Sure, there’s a limit to which you can edit a comment but simply taking away links does not cross any boundaries. » Posted By Nitin Reddy Katkam On January 14, 2012 @ 11:33 AM Good Guide On Avoiding Theme/Plugin Lock-In I use some of the free themes on WordPress and although you may disagree with me when I say that switching themes is a breeze, I do think that when themes try to become plugins, that’s when we lose the modularity that WordPress was meant to provide. For now, many security consultants offer code-reviews and fixes for problems like these. That’s what has been happening with the Apple iPhone AppStore. » Posted By Nitin Reddy Katkam On September 30, 2009 @ 1:19 PM WordPress.com Not Just For Blogging A co-worker did some freelancing work before going full-time and that’s when all the work he did was over WordPress. They were entire websites that used only page articles and no post articles. Eventually, the hosting provider gave him a wizard that was easier to use for building a static website so he switched to it. » Posted By Nitin Reddy Katkam On July 26, 2009 @ 3:53 PM Hi!
