According To WPEngine WordPress Is Secure

I agree that the WordPress core is as secure as you can get. I use many premium plug-ins and to date I’ve had no hassles. I guess it all boils down to where you get your plug-ins from and to always keep them updated to the latest version.

VaultPress Issues First Set Of Invites

I’m in the middle of my first Vaultpress backup and it’s been almost a day, with what looks like another 3-5 days to complete. It’s “evaluating” the tables row-by-row. Slowly. I’m terrified as to how long a restore will take. I’m trying to get an answer there on that now.

In searching around for another solution, I found BlogVault. It looks terrific, I’m wondering why you have not covered that product.

(By the way, what plugin do you use for this nice comments entry? It’s great.)

Leaving for SF the next day. I would like to show up for a couple but that is quite a drive from Toledo. How about having them over the weekend sometime?

Wanna WordPress Wiki

I have a quick question. When I check off the option to make a page or post wiki friendly, then a someone with the “wiki editor” privilege can edit the page, so far so good. The issue that I have is that the option to make the page/post wiki friendly is still available to the wiki editor, and if they deselect the box to make the page/post wiki friendly, then the post can no longer be edited until the administrator makes the post wiki friendly again. Is there a way to only allow the admin to select which pages are wiki friendly?
