Can A Theme Developer Put Himself Out Of Business?

I think it will help, especially if they have someone that can then create new widgets to sell, and in this case iThemes has Chris Jean, who is fantastic, and contributes a considerable amount to the core by the way.

I think it will change the market though. I would like to see a major theme company start using Sass/Compass to facilite with the stying as well. I think that will be the next step.

Would You Like To Hear An Interview With Anil Dash?

I think it would be great. Each different cms makes decisions differently. There are some things I still miss from joomla.

PremiumThemes.net Club Membership Giveaway

I like the idea of this website becoming the smashing mag of wordpress. In your absence getting other people to write posts could be your best course of action with having to work full time. I used to wonder how you devote so much time to it. The downside is I think they spend serious $ for posts which you will not have.

The forum will not take as much to keep going, there is a regular crowd there, and I suspect very different demographics as well.

Introducing WordCamp 360

I think this may be your best idea yet. You might see if you can guest post, and mention it on some other blogs. I look forward to it.

Nomad-One Interviews Six Great Theme Developers

I like the fact that the tavern does not ignore the elephant in the middle of the room. During the time of the GPL discussion, you were on top of it, not pushing an agenda per se, even though you had an opinion, but you helped to get people talking in a respectful way.

Who’s Responsible For Keeping Your WordPress Site Up To Date?

I voted for end-user, but I think it would be more appropriate to call it webmaster or editor. When I think of end-user, I think of reader.

Do You Think WordPress Is Secure?

Yes it is very secure. Other platforms, like Joomla, often release patches after the worm is in the wild. We had weeks in advance to upgrade.

Magazine/News Themes The New Black?

I can’t wait for the new themes to come out. I came from the Joomla world, so the blog type templates are the ones foreign to me.

Who Needs eBay When You Have WP Auctions?

I have a few specific questions if the author is watching. I had to implement an auction for in-house use, and needed several different types of account. In one category, and I use that loosely, because I ended up having to create a whole separate instance for it, we needed the ability to transfer items at no cost. Basically, it was just transferring equipment such as a monitor or printer from one department to another, so, it was a first come first serve with no cost. The other category was just a traditional auction. So I guess my question is can you create different top level categories that only allow transfer, at zero cost, and have separate sub categories, like monitors etc.
I would then create a separate traditional category with sub categories, for a traditional auction.
I would love a copy by the way :)
