Displaying 1 To 5 Of 5 Comments WordPress News Sites And The Bermuda Triangle Thanks Jeff for your kind words about wpMail.me! Really appreciate it! Truth is, http://wpMail.me is bleeding money since it was launched! Even now with proper advertisers and it’s still isn’t braking even. Now, I don’t worry to much about this because we have two companies providing financial support for it (a custom wp services and a paid plugin business) and I’m really happy that I can support it for years to come. On the other hand, one of our latest tries, http://wpnuggets.com, the plugin review site, we had to put it on hold because there was no revenue what so ever from it. Affiliates just didn’t work out and advertisement is not worth it. (we got like $5 from a GravityForms sale :D ) While we got some organic traffic for it (google), and that’s great, it’s not traffic we can convert to sales (affiliate or our own products). Thus for now it’s just idling. I might even try to sell it but I doubt the effort is worth it. » Posted By Cristian Antohe On January 21, 2013 @ 4:31 AM I did think to build something like this like half a year ago! :) Kudos to iThemes for creating this. » Posted By Cristian Antohe On March 4, 2010 @ 2:34 PM @Carl Hancock I do agree with you on the Support Ticketing for large companies and sensitive information. I did work a bit with Kayako SupportSuite in the past and it really helps the Support providers a lot. What I wanted to say is that in the case of Gravity Forms I would still like Support Forums over Tickets. It just feels right for me. :) » Posted By Cristian Antohe On January 29, 2010 @ 5:26 PM FAQ and Forums I guess. Support tickets are just some glorified forums in terms of functionality (Ok I might overreact here but if you gent an answer on a forum or a support ticket it’s pretty much the same). Also with forums you have the possibility to search for answers. Chances are you won’t have to wait for some one to answer. » Posted By Cristian Antohe On January 29, 2010 @ 5:06 PM Write For People, Not For Spiders I have to agree with Nathat on this issue. Let’s put it this way… SEO will never be the soul of the party but it will always be the guy that brings that extra 6 pack :) Now if you don’t need the 6 pack then fine… don’t worry about it… but I can tell you I had quote requests from people founding me on Google. And on the end of the day that’s what pays the bills. Working with Thematic I can tell you for sure it helps to have good HTML. Put that with proper Page Titles (using AIOS plugin for example) and write your content taking into consideration that you might want to include certain keywords is all that you need for a page to have a good rank in Google. You don’t have to create a post with 40% keywords and 60% information (you might even get penalized for this), just make sure you include those keywords a couple of times and that’s all. Well at least for me. » Posted By Cristian Antohe On January 25, 2010 @ 4:28 PMComments Posted By Cristian Antohe
