The two install processes are different, so I'm curious to see how they're gong to handle it. I actually prefer to MU one, where it creates everything for you. Much easier than editing the config file right off.

Oh, I thought Mu required edits for the file already. I guess not then.

At any rate, I'm sure the Mu people will have no problem editing a single file. Mu is tricky enough to get running already so it's not as though any of the current users are going to be unfamiliar with modifying a config file.

MU aint tricky its really quite simple. =) And I used to use version 2.5 or something.

It's tricky for those who have either:
a) never manually installed WP
b) never done a local install
c) refuse to read the directions, including the huge notice at the top of the config file, in big *** all around, that says "don't edit this file. :)
d) have a convoluted setup they are trying to work around
e) have a windows servers

So..... I find a lot of installation issues people run into also stem from the fact they assume it's just like regular Wordpress. one person's simple is another person's tricky.

You should have seen it back in version 1.3, bleeding edge alpha pre-release. that puppy was fun to work with. It's come a long way.
