    Default Directing Category to a page- Need that page to act as a Hompage

    I have been trying to find someone that can help with this question and no luck thus far.

    I am trying to direct a post category to a page. The page is using an entirley different theme than the rest of the site. I need this page to act as the homepage of that theme not the page template. Hope someone can help...Thanks!

    Also I do not want my existing homepage to act as a static page, I need it to remain acting as the homepage itself.
