    Default My Sidebar has Disappeared!

    I followed the instructions perfectly like so;

    http://www.studiopress.com/wordpress...ress-theme.htm

    And it works great. However the Sidebar has utterly disappeared, it's just a blank space.

    Can anyone help, I have looked everywhere and nobody seems to be able to help. Anyone?

    I don't think anyone can help you as you haven't described the problem very well.

    If there is a problem with the instructions they've given, then perhaps let them know over in the StudioPress support forum.

    Yeah, I think we'll need some more information! :)

    Having said that, I've often seen sidebars that pop down to the bottom of the page if there is some content that is too wide in one of your posts. Is your sidebar down at the bottom of the page?

    Sorry.

    I am using the studiopress Magazine template.

    I used the instructions linked above to create the widgetised footer. After that the sidebar has simply disappeared. It hasn't been pushed down or anything.

    In the admin panel everything looks perfectly fine. I can place sidebar widgets into "Sidebar top" no problem. It's just that the sidebar just does not display at all.

    Studiopress has told me to reinstall the template from scratch. Which I'm sure will certainly solve the problem. I just want to know if there is something in general I could look at.

    Here is the CSS of my my site if anyone would be kind enough to take a browse to see if there's anything obviosly wrong.

    Please ignore this thread or delete it. I managed to solve it and it really never should have even occured.

    In functions.php I stupidly renamed my sidebar to "Sidebar top" Seems I followed the instructions just too literally. I renamed it back to it's original name and it works fine.

    I apologise for wasting your time but thanks a lot for replying!
