Pick User Name and Password #10396

I'm working on Ticket #10396, which allows you to pick your user name and password during the install process. If anyone has some free time and knowledge with Subversion, could you check out the latest patch I submitted. I'm look for feedback on how any element of the patch could be improved, such at wording, UI/UX, formatting... I'm also looking for people to test out the patch and make sure nothing bad happens during an edge case or non-typical scenario. I'd be really nice to get this patch committed before the 1st of February.

If you do test out the patch, it would be nice to know what version of PHP and MySQL your running, as well as the version of WordPress / revision your on. Giving as much detail as possible doesn't hurt either.

I have no idea how to integrate the patch into an existing install. But I'd like to say thanks for writing it! This definitely smooths out the registration process quite nicely.

There seems to be some resistance to this idea and I'm not sure why. I like it.

I'm not sure how to use this. But I'm willing to create a new site on a subdomain to test this. (I'm not experienced with Trac and it confuses the heck out of me)
