New Theme: Shades

I received an email from WP today:

Congratulations, your new theme Shades is now available to the public at <http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/shades>.

I do so love reading these ones, I just had to share

There a short little intro post at BuyNowShop, I haven't decided where to take the theme live but I did make a quick child theme and dropped it here. Which also happens to be where the WP-Cummulus plugin is being used that I mentioned in another post earlier.

Nice theme! I like how Copperplate Gothic Bold looks in the header. Keep up the good work!

I dig rattitude.com, shows how versatile your theme is, I was about to say that the contrast was to low, and then I noticed the hover backgrounds, that's a nice touch.

The Shades of Turq! child theme at Rattitude.com was a quick and fun exercise in both making the graphics (especially dealing with the contrast issues ); and, getting a first overview of creating child themes.

I did take the Shades theme live at DbJB for the time being (see the link in my sig).
