IMHO, the map should still be "freely" available, even if it is just a minimalistic version of it. It's like buying a new computer but only getting access to the install disks if you purchase the super-extended platinum warranty ... its just a blatant money grab.

Uh, yeah. If that's how they are trying to get people to spring for the premium, maybe ticking them off isn't the way to go.

Something like that would make me less likely to buy from them.
