    Weblogtoolscollection.com New Design

Wow. I've known about the redesign for WLTC a long time but I never got to see any prototypes or design ideas. To see the new WeblogToolsCollection.com, check it out http://weblogtoolscollection.com/

Looks like Mark has chosen to go with Earthy styled tones with a few shades of Orange mixed in. Overall, I like the new look and it gives WLTC so much more of a Fresh feeling.

share your thoughts/opinions on the redesign.

I saw the new design a couple of hours ago. A big improvement.

Looks like N.Design studio may have been the people behind the design if you take a look at the URL structure. Interesting if you take a look at the source, how many lines have been commented to show the end user just where something begins and where it ends. Interesting because I don't see that in many themes.

As I read more into the source, I'm beginning to really like the idea of theme authors commenting the HTML code to label what the beginning DIV element is for and then a comment where that element is closed.

Yup I agree it's a good idea although for my own purposes I always strip that stuff out as I don't need it.

I have already forgot what the old one looked like lol
The lord of every land, rising for them,
The Aton of the day, great of majesty.

    Great Hymn of the Aton

It is a very good design, a real fresh feel to it. And I, too, like the number of comments in the code.

Honestly, not a big fan. Not enough flair, typography seems off, main page seems crammed, and I don't like how ads were integrated into two independent sidebars. Love the site, love the content, always disliked the design, and that still holds true, though it was definitely due for a refresh.

It looks much better than the old theme. It's simple and easy to read.

I don't like the categories list down the bottom, it is kinda jumbled and confusing.

Interesting to see they have a 'heat map' instead of a 'tag cloud'.
