it looks better than the old one, but i´m with david on the crammed and typography part. when i first looked at those popular posts section on the top right i thought it was some php-error-code before i actually read it. btw: did anyone notice that strange behaviour in that section on the top right? when i hover the first and the last 3 links they turn orange, but it doesn´t happen when i have my cursor on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th link... Error on my system or does it happen on your machine too? Or is this intended and i just don´t get it? lol

I do like it better than the old design but I agree the main content area is too crammed. It's on the verge of feeling like another sidebar.

I do really like the subscription box as it calls a focus to their network of readers and is sure to bring in even more.

I didn't even notice that part. Now that I've taken another look I see what you mean.

I've sent a link to this forum thread to Mark as a means of giving him feedback regarding the new design. Thanks all for replying to the thread.

It looks good, but the search bar is jacked in Safari (so likely any WebKit based browser)

    See what I mean:

The div is slightly off. It's fine in Gecko (Firefox, Camino, Flock and any other Mozilla derivative), likely fine in IE (I' not opening up a VM to check), but the padding is off. It can be corrected to work correctly in all browsers, but I just figured I'd point it out.

    Otherwise, it's a big improvement.

I really like the new design. It looks fine in my Firefox 2.0.x and matches well with my Orange theme :) It's a lot easier to read (and seems to load faster?) than the previous theme, although it takes a little getting used to.

If it is N.Design behind this new look, I'd say good choice! They/he makes excellent forum themes too.
