RSS Feeds for individual threads?

Is there a way to get RSS feeds for individual threads? I don't mind subscribing by email, but would prefer RSS.

It doesn't look like you can do that. You can only subscribe to threads via email. However, you can tell the forum to send you instant email updates, daily updates, or weekly updates. The RSS is only available for individual sections like the WPTavern Site And Forum section and the entire forum.

Yeah, that's one thing that bbPress has as a definite advantage. I've gotten so used to subscribing via RSS that I actually can't do email subscriptions for long any more. I get too much email as is, having it all show up in Google Reader is waaaay better.

I tried using Google Reader's new "create a feed" functionality it uses for when a site doesn't have a feed already, but the main forums feeds are <link>'d even for a specific thread, causing Reader to try and use those.

Is there a way to force reader to use it's "create a feed" functionality? I've been looking around and can't find an answer to that.

Try using Google Reader with the "printable version" URL for a thread. Under Thread Tools menu, top of the page.

The RSS feed is thread based, not post-based. The last post option gives you info about the last post in the thread.
