Better When Jeff Wasn't Working Full Time

Hey Jeff, I just wanted to come on here and say that I miss when all things Tavern was the center of your universe. Things have slowed down so much in posting, etc that I wonder if this little side project is going to die off without more attention and love from you.

I miss the days where there were 1 post on the blog, 1 new post on the forums and a few responses. I write this in hopes that you'll be able to find new ways to dedicate time to WPTavern so that it can prosper and I miss your continued contributions.

I hope you don't take this negatively.

Give Jeff money so he can reduce his grocery store hours again and come back to the hive...lol. He almost needs an investor that believes in what he's trying to build here, willing to help him get to that full time income level for a cut of the profit proceeds or something...

Nah, as long as the people here love the atmosphere and can come together in a friendly, inviting place to talk WordPress, this place will grow and not die. I disappeared for a week and the forum kept on buzzing as if I was still around. In fact, it's slowly reached the point now of transition face. I no longer have to pump in overtime into the forum to get the momentum going. The users here provide the momentum and thanks to the following on Twitter to @WPTavern, I can send a link to a forum thread or post and instantly, 60-100 people show up. This has slowly churned in registered users.

The tavern forum is spreading and people talk about the site and this forum at various WordCamps. I'm slowly but surely continuing to build something here.

Yeah, it sucks that I ran out of money but I've come too far to give up now. So I keep up the momentum through the show, the forum, and the occassional blog posts. It's the best I can do for now until things change. Would rather keep the momentum going albeit slow rather than disappear.
