Sigh, I will never be able to keep up with all of the acronym issues (thanks for the tip).. I'll try to keep it in mind. Some users still refer to it as the old way, so I always have to try and position it with what people talk about.

"I have a couple WordPress multisite networks installed, and as far as I know, I've never had any issues with passing the network's DNS through CloudFlare?"
The issue here is adding subdomains. While they can be configured manually, it is more of an issue when you add new subdomains, etc.

Note: Subdomains are different than a folder & that is the primary reason this is somewhat important.

domain.com/xxxxxx = ok (part of the main site, which we would do automatically).
special.domain.com = different issue. These subdomains are not picked up (or configured) automatically, nor would they be proxied/added to DNS zone files automatically.

All of my networks are subdomains. :) But, yes: I added them manually to my DNS setup. Anything that can automate the process is awesome, of course!

Agreed. We were actually pleasantly surprised that someone decided to write a plugin for this:)

And...a couple of other quick CloudFlare notes:)

Pro accounts can beta test CloudFlare's image optimization feature. As this is a very, very beta feature, please turn this off in your settings (settings->CloudFlare settings) if you see issues with it & contact us.

CloudFlare just opened our 14th datacenter in Miami. If you have a lot of visitors from the Southeast USA or South America, this should help speed things up for them a lot.

Just a quick note that I have a pretty nifty beta feature that some of you can test. If you're interested in testing it out, please contact us & put Damon:Beta in the subject line (I can't post the link here because it is super secret...)

Some of you have been using Page Rules already, but we actually fully released the feature over this weekend. I'm highlighting two blog posts that should help clarify on how to use Page Rules with additional options.

    CloudFlare URL forwarding
    Excluding URLs from CloudFlare

    And one other quick update:
Many of our customers have asked if it would be possible to cache things like static HTML through CloudFlare. I'm happy to announce that this now possible with CloudFlare's advanced caching options.

I have two beta features that community members can test (for free!) if you want to contact us. Please put Damon:Beta in the subject line so I can keep an eye out for tickets.

    Hints:
    1. These features are designed to help users that have a lot of images on their site.
    2. These features will actually be available only to Pro accounts in the future, but you can get them free (for life) by testing out the features and providing us with feedback.
