Default Short Comment Filter - Beta Testers Needed

Jeff suggested an idea for a plugin a couple of days ago that would automatically filter plugins shorter than a given length.

I took the original idea, and several suggestions from the following thread and created the "Short Comment Filter Plugin".

Discarding Comments Under Set Amount Of Words

You can view more information about the plugin, and download it here:

Right now the thing I need most is feedback. What can I improve and what can I add? And of course, can you find any bugs that I've missed?

I now have the plugin installed with check client enabled and the minimum word count of five. I've set it up to automatically discard comments. Lets see how this goes.

Someone pointed out that I'd left some debugging output in the client side JavaScript. I removed it, but you'll probably want to update the plugin files so commenters don't see funny alerts.

    Sorry about that :)

Has the files been updated? Do I just download and then overwrite the files with these?

Yes, you can use the same link from the website to download the updated files.

When I get the chance I'd like to try to get it on WP.org Extend so updates can be automated, but for now it's pretty basic.

Cool. I just tried it on a local install with the javascript option enabled. Worked flawlessly.

LOL. I was checking out some previous comments and I did notice a few that were borderline. But I'm glad that the javascript is their to tell humans of the restriction of comments to more than 5 words.

By the way, I've been testing it on the Tavern site and everything seems to be going well. Now, I'm wondering how does a comment automatically get discarded if you can't publish a comment that is under 5 words anyways? And if you have it over 5 words, than how does it ever fit the criteria of being discarded?
