So I saw this come across the wire the other day:

I still have no idea what the hell Wave is supposed to be about but I guess I'll find out sooner rather than later.

Think of it like a new version of email, IM, blog commenting and forum posting all rolled into one amorphous system hosted by Google.
Hopefully Google's system is open enough that anyone can plug into it, they're claiming it will be open, but to what extent I'm not sure.
The problem with Wave right now is that to even see it in action, you have to have Wave Sandbox Access, which is hard to come by. I'm still waiting.
So it's difficult to understand what the point is when you can't even gain access to play with an existing wave.
Wavr plugin for WordPress released by Lucas Caro:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wavr/
The goal of this plugin is to implement the full Google Wave Embed API for wordpress.
This plugin is in very beta release, as the wave sandbox and api get stable, this plugin will be updated.Even though the wave support is basic for now, it is planned to add widgets and implement the full wave embed api for wordpress in this plugin.
