I made it back here and well, I was always too busy coding super spangly things to play with in my spare time to participate much in forums beyond asking questions about how to do super spangly things. (which this place is great for!)

Super spangly and working more than full time in the family business left little time for human interaction, but.. dum dum duummm, I have finally put the shop into 'even a numptie can run it' mode with a super spangly (tired of that term now) EPOS system that handles the orders, deliveries, cash ups, loyalty card and more (btw. it all runs as a worpdress plugin, all 1.1 millions characters of it) and now I'm going to be part time. woot! that's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all day and night to spend on super spangliness (ok, one more) !

Now I am sure I will have the time to develop my plugins more, be more patient with support tickets and shock, horror, there will be human interaction in places like my own blog comments and yup, forums!! although, this is really the only forum I know so that is just the singular for now.

happy to be back! thanks for the reminder

I'm always keeping tabs on you, heh. How has Comment Luv been working out for you? I've noticed you push out a lot of affiliate links on Twitter, have those converted well for you?

commentluv is going really well, I just pipped over 40,000 registered members and the official repository has logged over 300,000 downloads. I'm currently in the process of creating the next version that doesn't rely on my server to do the work and then when that is stable, I'll be knocking out a premium version with all the extra spangly bits that everyone has been asking for.

The affiliate links on twitter convert quite well, the studiopress ones are really good. I can get up to 400 dollars a month from them on a good month.
