A client of mine uses a combination of Wordpress and aMember to manage a subscription based site with multiple products, and numerous combinations of possible subscription levels. Multiple roles per user has been the only way to protect the content properly.

It will be the aMember devs responsibility to update their plugin, but I fear they will be rather slow to respond. I've contacted them already about this issue, and they've responded that until 2.9 comes out, they won't/can't do anything. This is understandable.

I'm 100% behind the WP dev team's continued progress in making Wordpress efficient and clean, but I just wanted to voice an opinion that the loss of multiple roles will be more than "a bit of a pain."
