WavePress
From my (very) quick search, not much is being said about Google Wave and WordPress at the moment. So I thought we could all put our ideas into one place for what we'd like to see Wave accomplish in WordPress. After a while, I'm going to publish a write up on my blog, and I'll credit everyone's ideas.
Basically, I think that Wave could revolutionise how we see our blogs in terms of administration and interaction, so the sooner we start putting ideas together, the sooner plugins/themes can be made ready for when Wave launches later this year.
For those of you who haven't watched the video yet (WHY NOT!!!), check it out at http://wave.google.com . The API info is at http://code.google.com/apis/wave and the protocol at http://waveprotocol.org/ .
The obvious way Wave can be used is with comments, a little like intense debate does, where they are manageable from elsewhere other than the blog.
Comments could also be replied to as with the threaded comments now. Comments could be added to the relevant part of the article body, with a button to turn inline comments off to leave the text in its original format.
Real time translation. A perfect way to open your blog to more users is by pulling down the language barrier. This will be like having a babelfish in your ear.
While WP works on its new image editing tools, the Image uploading and commenting in Wave could facilitate the process further.
I also see Wave changing the face of live blogging from a conference, with people being able to thread comments and additions to the original notes.
So what are your ideas? Has anyone started work on anything? I applied for my sandbox access today, hopefully it'll be granted soon!

I applied for access ages ago, still got nothing.
It looks like it could be handy in several ways, but until I can play with it, I can't say for sure.
