editing fright!

Just been editing my blog - I thought I had lightlighted an image to delete - clicked 'delete' to find I'd deleted the whole page!

Luckly I used the back button - copied the page that was still in the old editing window - setup a 'New Page' with the same name and then pasted back in the content.#

Now there may well be something I'm missing - and the page was 'saved' - but why didn't I get a prompt saying ' You are about to delete a complete page - do you want to go ahead?'

As I said - i thought I was just removing an image from the page - not the whole thing.

Perhaps it's just a beginners mistake :-)

Hmm, there should have been a prompt that asks if you are sure about deleting that page. Regardless, unless you have it disabled, you most likely could have used a revision of that page to restore it.

Actually now that I think about it, if you delete the page, you delete the revisions along with it. Ouch.
