WordCamp St. Louis 2011 (August 6th)

Hi folks, this is Chris Wallace, one of the organizers of WordCamp St. Louis 2011. I want to let everyone know that WordCamp is coming to the Gateway to the Midwest! We'll be holding the event at the prestigious Maryville University on August 6th.

There are a few ways you can help spread the word about WordCamp St. Louis.

1. Blog Posts - Write about us! The more exposure we can get in the next few weeks, the higher quality speakers we can get and that means better WordPress content!

2. Tweets/Retweets - Help us out by sharing our tweets with other folks! Our twitter is @wordcampstl.

3. Attend - If you're within a 4-5 hour drive of St. Louis, it would be great to see you as an attendee at WordCamp St. Louis!

4. Speak/Sponsor - We need high-quality speakers from the St. Louis Metro Area! I hate the idea of having "social media gurus" and "marketing professionals" speak at WordCamp. It's not because they aren't valuable but simply because WordCamp should be about using, developing on, and working with WordPress!

That's the deal and I hope you can make it to WordCamp St. Louis, 2011!
