    What advice woudl they give for someone looking to design their own themes? (yeah, buy the book! :D )

    But - where do they *start*?

    One question that has always bugged me is what do I do if I am using a commercial product like woo canvas or genesis as my framework?

    Because so much of the underlying code was written by other people, I have always wondered if it's ok to even consider selling custom theme's when I use other themes as my engine.
