I've decided to finally get this little project rolling not only for my own benefit but hopefully, the benefit of others. One of the things that gets me so frustrated about WordPress is that I never know where to go to direct my frustration, feedback, criticism, or suggestions. The feedback mechanisms are so disjointed, it's hard to remember where to go and who to contact to get something done. So to help out with this process, I'd like for the members of the forum here to help me compile a whitepages list of sorts for different areas of the WordPress project for feedback and support. Once the list is complete or or close to it, I'm going to publish it on WPTavern.com and also find a page or create a page in the Codex with the information we compiled in the hopes that it will steer people into the right direction.
Plugins
The plugin repository is maintained by Mark Riley who can usually be located in the WordPress.com IRC channel. He's the one that can approve, disapprove, and suspend plugins in the repository and is the one you'll want to go to if other communication methods fail.
Alternatively, you can send an email to plugins@wordpress dot org.
Themes
If you're theme was rejected, removed, or suspended, you'll want to send an email to themes@wordpress dot org.
General Feedback
WordPress Development
(I think you get the drift of what I'm trying to create here. The WordPress.org project has NO hierarchy which is a blessing and a curse. WHERE to give feedback and get problems resolved instead of being yelled at because feedback is put in the wrong place, we can try to place order into chaos.)
