Well, this is a good sign for all involved and for those who do commercial stuff for WordPress. Pretty cool to see the WordPress crew reach out to a commercial company that is doing something that is potentially the best solution to a problem and work with them to have it integrated into core for the benefit of everyone.

It looks pretty slick IMO. I was intending to build something nearly identical, but it Core and WooThemes both beat me to the punch. Their implementation is nicer than what I had in mind too.

The WooThemes version looks rather out of place, but I'm sure it will be styled to match the existing "WordPress look" before it's rolled into core.

It's good to see productive cooperation. I just hope it will stick and put an end to using GPL for political bs.

I think it's a great step forward (for WordPress and for premium theme authors) - looking forward to seeing how it integrates.

I agree with Ryan as well, I am sure Matt T will tweak the design to fit the WP branding, and the structure will probably evolve with time anyway.
