Hey there
Hey everyone,
I found WordPress Fall 2008 after learning some basics of static design for a few months before that and have gradually gotten more involved (or obsessed) since. I feel very lucky that I spent very little time wasting my time before I randomly (or more likely because of great SEO) encountered via Google Justin Tadlock's awesome framework (and was immediately intrigued by the work of a fellow Auburn grad!). WordPress is an amazing platform and ThemeHybrid helped me realize the possibilities beyond blogging. I stumbled across WPTavern via Jeffro posting over in the Hybrid forums and have been following the conversation here for a while now. I have to say it is awesome the way contributors to WordPress are so accessible via platforms like this.
Even though I've been learning for a couple of years now, I'm a perfectionist, so I've just recently started my own blog. My biggest ambition of creating an inviting and user friendly community opinion/culture website is under development. With the advancement of 3.0 and some great plugins, I think a total beginner like me may actually be able to pull it off. So I'm just here to say "hey" and let you all know that I appreciate you sharing your opinions and knowledge base so that wannabees like me can learn. So, cheers!
