Hello from the WordCast Network :)

Hello all!

The team from the WordCast Network here! If you're not familiar with the site, we're a blog and podcast network centered around WordPress, blogging, and social media. We've even had Mr. Jeff Chandler himself on many times in the past! ;)

We wanted to poke our heads in and say hello. All kinds of great discussions are going on here in the Tavern forums and we wanted to get involved, as there's nothing we love more than talking WordPress and blogging.

Most of the time posts from this account will be from Dave Moyer, the editor-in-chief of WordCast, but occasionally other folks from the staff like Lorelle VanFossen, Miriam Schwab or Kym Huynh might pop in (with a signature or greeting of course, to make sure it's all understandable)

Thanks to Jeff and everyone here in the Tavern community for all you do for WordPress and its' surrounding projects! We're excited to be part of the family.

How come you don't just sign up as individuals?

We might do that as well down the road, but having the one account makes it easy for us to participate as "WordCast" and not just as individual people- adding collective knowledge, and participating in the community as a group. :)

Welcome to the Tavern, WordCast folk! I know I've interacted with both Dave and Kym, though, to my recollection, not Lorelle or Miriam. It will be nice to have y'all here!

What'll you have? All the drinks are on the house - though, I do recommend the coffee. It's particularly good this time of the morning.

Preferably, it would have been best to just have everyone sign up with their own accounts to make things crystal clear as to who is saying what. But I'm willing to see how this goes for now. I just hope we don't end up having to ask "who wrote this" all the time :)
