I get new clients with twitter. :)

Not by following the job sites though - that's why they have rss feeds.

Of course now probably several hundred new people will also be following those people and fighting for those jobs :)

I use Twitter to find work on occasion, but I generally use the search feature to find people who need WordPress help and offer my services. Usually anything that can be expressed in a tweet is too small to really pay anyone for, but by helping people with small problems, I build up a base of happy "customers" who often come to me later with real work they're willing to pay me to do.
