BP Chat and BP Twitter

I have 2 Buddypress plugins nearly ready to go. BP Twitter adds a lot of twitter functionality to BP - far beyond what the Twire plugin can do. BP Chat is a chat system for BP, you can chat privately one-to-one or have group chats with numerous people. BP Chat is still very much in development but that base functionality is there. I'm working on finishing it up as soon as I can.

You can try either plugin at my test site - sign up for an account to gain access to both tools.

I showcase this forum post to the WordPress meetup and a few people gasped at the Chat plugin as they thought this was a great idea.

Good question. I wonder if the plugins ever saw the light of day. I know when he first created this thread, there was good demand for chat inside of BuddyPress.

Well I came across Twire, but it chucked up a load of errors which I couldn't be bothered to look through as I was only playing around!

As for chat I found a BP Ajax Chat solution, but when installed nothing happened...at all! Didn't even show up in my plugins page!
