    I wonder how it will work in practice with the user base. Would love to see something like this end up on WordPress.org as well. Thankfully, Jane does as well.

    Yep, it'll make the whole BP site easier to use too. And stem a tide of questions like "how come when I install buddypress the forums don't look / act like they do here?" :D
