    Default register.php dying

As JellyBeen noticed earlier today, on my bbPress installation, register.php is returning a 500 error all of a sudden.

    Here's the server error:
    Code:
[Sat Jan 30 13:49:18 2010] [error] [client ] Premature end of script headers: register.php
Any ideas? It has been working just fine, until today.

Just re-uploaded everything. Still same error.

Guess I'll have to check plug-ins. I did install one recently.

Hmm... no-go on that, either. I'm stumped.

    Found it!

I updated bb-no-spam-user to 0.8, and that's what was horking my register.php. I disabled it, and registration works again.

    Wonder what the problem is?

Thanks for going to all the trouble.

I'll pop over in a few minutes to register. More to have a look around than anything else.

Not a problem at all. I'm trying to find out from the plugin author why the update from 0.7.1 to 0.8 broke the register.php page.

Saw your registration email come through. Have a look around, and let me know if you have any questions!

There's something else broken on your site too. It launches an audio track of some sort on launching the home page. If that was something you did intentionally, I recommend removing it. I never visit sites that launch audio clips automatically.

It actually took me about a minute to find out where the problem was because I launched about 20 windows along with yours, and I had to rifle through them all to try and work out which one was making the racket.

Sorry, it will drop off shortly.

It was the clip of the news story of my 6-year-old niece who was killed (along with her uncle) in a car accident a couple weeks before Christmas.

I, too, detest auto-run videos, but unfortunately, the news station that published the video has their script set to auto-run. But, as it was part of the catharsis for my mourning family members, I left it.
