It works fairly well for taking guest submissions directly inside WP. I guess the classic alternative method is, "If you want to submit an article, email it to _____ ." I use TDO Mini Forms. Another thought: wouldn't it be cool to build this kind of functionality into P2, so that users don't necessarily have to be logged in to make a post using that theme? Would that work?
